Built on an All-Aluminum Platform, New Chery eQ7 SUV 2023-2024
On June 14, Chery officially announced more information about the Chery eQ 7. Built on the all-electric Chery New Energy all-aluminum platform and adopting a rear-mounted rear-wheel drive layout, the new car is expected to launch in the second half of this year.
The Chery eQ7's shape is adorned with many popular design elements. The split headlights and exaggerated triangular areas on both sides bring a strong sense of visual impact. The side of the body creates a simple and smooth profile and demonstrates a road-ready forward stance using the sporty two-tone suspended roof and oversized aerodynamic wheels.
The rear of the new car adopts full-length taillights, similar to the design style of the previous big ants , and the design of the rear bumper reflects the front of the car. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4675/1910/1660 mm and the wheelbase is 2830 mm, respectively.
The new car's central control layout is very uncluttered and smooth, with a wingspan-style chrome strip running along the left and right, and the ambient light design is also used under the layered chrome strip. The cockpit is equipped with dual 12.3 inch smart big screens, 6 smart stages, smart constant temperature cockpit, skin-friendly premium seats, more than 20 L2 smart driving assistance systems.
According to the previously announced information, the new car offers two interior color options, black brass and black blue. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with 64-color Xinghan Galaxy atmosphere lights, front driver seat heating and ventilation, 8-point massage/electric footrest/BOSS button for passenger seat, rear seat heating, CN95 air filter system.
The Chery eQ7 is built on the basis of an all-aluminum platform, adopts an aluminum alloy hollow frame structure and reduces the weight of the body frame by 30%. In terms of power, the vehicle is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 155kW and a lithium iron phosphate battery that increases power density by 35%. It also provides 4 driving modes, 3 steering modes and 2 braking modes.
