The latest addition to and soon to debut in the legendary range of Modern Classics by Triumph Motorcycles, the Speed 400 joins the contemporary styled roadsters Speed Twin 900 and 1200, while the Scrambler 400 X draws inspiration for its muscular design from the older Scrambler sisters 900 and 1200, whose off-road pedigree goes back to the 1950s, the era that gave life to the first mass-produced Scramblers.

These are completely new projects developed around a new powertrain, at the center of which beats the new and brilliant single-cylinder engine of innovative conception. The goal for both models is to offer, at an attractive price, a package of a superior class, compared to the current market offer of the same engine capacity, in terms of overall quality, road performance and riding enjoyment. The attention to style and constructive care is typically Triumph, just as the technological contents and the level of standard equipment are inspired by the higher engine capacity models.
