Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha on July 06 launched IEC campaign to make routes of Amarnath Yatra pollution free. The move came in the backdrop of environmental pollution caused by pilgrims not using dustbins to deposit their wastes.

The purpose of this initiative is to aware pilgrims as well as locals to make routes of yatra pollution free. LG Manoj Sinha launched the campaign at Raj Bhawan. Officers of the Directorate of rural sanitation, J&K Department of rural development, and members of “The SWAAHA” organisation were present
