Australia's education ministers have endorsed sweeping changes to teacher training after a long running review by Sydney University Vice Chancellor Mark Scott. Universities could lose their accreditation if their teaching courses don't incorporate new 'core content' based on the teaching of basic literacy, numeracy and classroom management.
