Labour: Govt ‘missing in action’ over teacher strikes

The shadow schools minister has said teachers feel “undervalued, underpaid and massively overstretched”, as members of the National Education Union walk out in England on Wednesday and Friday.
Labour’s Stephen Morgan said: “The government are missing in action on this. Gillian Keegan needs to set out some leadership and she needs to get round the room and negotiate a deal for our teachers.” Report by Covellm.
