French President Emmanuel Macron has drawn intense criticism after he attended an Elton John concert in Paris while riots continue to rage in France. Macron and his wife, Brigitte, attended the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour of British singer Elton John at the Accor Arena in Paris. Footage showed the President tapping his foot along to the pianist's performance. 76-year-old Elton John and his husband David Furnish also shared a photo on Instagram, showing their meeting with the Macrons.
