A simple idea for decorating a plastic box

Hey! In this video, I'll show you how I made the decor of an old jewelry box using glue. I hope you will enjoy!

I got this old plastic box from my mother, and she got it from my grandmother. Grandmother bought it in 1972 and kept sewing threads in it. My mother kept buttons in it for a long time. Now I keep lace in it.
This box is dear to me, like a memory. So I decided to update it.
Before applying the paint, I rubbed it with sandpaper and washed it.
I glued hemispheres of self-hardening clay onto the lid, which I made using this form https://art-prosvet.ru/catalog/steampunk/mold-nabor-metizov/
I painted the box with green acrylic paint and let it dry.
I applied PVA glue (white glue) on top with a dense layer and waited until a film formed on the glue on top and it stopped sticking to the finger.
I applied white acrylic paint with a sponge.
I immediately started drying the paint with a hair dryer. The air must be warm. With such drying, the upper film of the adhesive cracks along with the white paint and cracks form.
When the box was completely dry, I glued a decoupage napkin on acrylic varnish to the lid and covered the entire box with it.
