A sea of devotees offered namaz on the occasion of Eid al-Adha in Coimbatore. Eid al-Adha or Bakrid also known as ‘Sacrifice Feast’, is marked by sacrificing a sheep or a goat to prove devotion and love for ‘Allah’. It is one of the two main festivals celebrated in Islam.
