ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಸಮರ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪಂಚ ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಅನ್ನಭಾಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹೊಂದಿರೋ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ 10 ಕೆಜಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಗತ್ಯದಷ್ಟು ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಬಿ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗಿರೋ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 10 ಕೆಜಿ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗದೇ ಜನರ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ಹಣ ಸಂದಾಯ ಮಾಡೋಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.The rice war between Congress and BJP has ended.
