Russian National Security Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has said that the Ukrainian authorities were ready for peace talks but backed down under pressure from the United States. He said that the top officials of Ukraine had announced their readiness to resolve problems with Russia and establish peace, but the United States put pressure on them, forcing Kiev to withdraw from this decision.
Nikolai Patrushev said that the leadership of Ukraine had advanced to the stage of signing a peace agreement with Russia, and in this regard, the text of peace proposals had also been sent to Russia, which Moscow had agreed to as a whole. He further said that Ukraine presented us the draft of peace proposals one day in the morning and took it back in the evening of the same day. He said that this incident happened only because of pressure from the US who were against the ceasefire between Moscow and Kiev. Nikolai Patrushev has said that the names of the United States and the United Kingdom are seen at the top of the list of countries benefiting from the war in Ukraine.
