Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Ivan John Uy warned the public on Friday, June 23, about scammers using money mules --- helping criminals to hide money --- as the deadline for the subscriber identity module (SIM) registration nears.

Since the registration for SIM cards is approaching its deadline on July 25, Uy, in his speech in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on "Keeping Cyber Safe" said that the cyber culprits buy others' identification as money mules. (Video Courtesy of DICT | Facebook)
