Twitter Inc. faced criticism when it suspended the account of Aaron Greenspan, a prominent critic of Tesla Inc. and its CEO Elon Musk. Greenspan's personal Twitter account was also suspended. Greenspan, the founder of PlainSite, had his account, which had over 24,000 followers, suspended on June 13th. Greenspan gained recognition for meticulously monitoring Twitter for any criticism directed at Tesla and Musk. Musk also allegedly contacted Twitter Lawrence Fossi's employer, inquiring about Fossi's critical Twitter activity under the pseudonym "Montana Skeptic." Fossi deactivated his Twitter account and stopped writing for Seeking Alpha after Musk's contact, commenting, "I'm a nobody, and he calls my employer?" Musk threatened to sue Fossi if he continued writing, prompting Fossi to post a farewell message stating that Musk had never directly contacted him, instead choosing to approach his employer.
