The Adults stars Michael Cera, Hannah Gross, and Sophia Lillis came out for the premiere of the coming-of-age story, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival SVA Theatre in New York City last week. We chatted with the cast and director, Dustin Guy Defa, who wrote the film specifically for Cera. Defa said the conscious genesis of the movie was wanting to work with Cera. 'I wrote the movie for him,' he said. But Defa explained he later incorporated Hannah Gross into the script, writing it for her and Cera. Gross and Lillis also sounded off on playing little sisters to Cera, who plays Eric and is reunited with them when he returns for a short trip home, where relationships with friends and family come to a head.
