Grandad pranked with photoshopped pics of grandkids next to Niagara Falls

A grandfather was horrified after his son sent him photoshopped pictures of his grandkids - dangerously close to Niagara Falls.

Casey Kacz, 32, photoshopped pictures of his two-year-old son, Koden, standing on the edge of the famous waterfall in New York, USA.

After sending the photos to his dad, Gary Kacz, Casey said he received a deeply concerned phone call from him “probably 20 seconds later.”

Casey said: “He called from my mom’s phone because I think he was so worked up, he couldn’t even use his own phone.”

In the recorded phone call, Gary is begging Casey to keep his grandkid away from the edge and gets progressively more worked up until his wife finally tells him it’s all fake.

“Those jokes will kill me,” Gary says in the video, in regards to his blood pressure getting high.

Casey explained that the prank was made more believable because his family visits Niagara Falls at least once a month.

As a Buffalo, New York, native, it's only a 20-minute drive to the Falls.

“I actually took those pictures myself and then I happened to take a couple of pictures of my kids up there too, and I just kind of, you know, photoshopped them in there'', he said.

To get his father to believe that Koden genuinely hadn’t been in danger, Casey had to send him the unedited photos and explain how he made them look real.

“He’s an old-school guy. He’s actually never sent an email, so he’s as old school as they come,” said Casey.

“The prank got me,” said Gary. “I shouldn’t have fallen for the second picture, but the first one definitely got me.”

Commenters were concerned that the prank was putting the 64-year-old retired father’s health at risk, but Casey assured viewers he was healthy.

“I've done far worse things to make his heart rate go up,” Casey joked.

“He likes to make things seem like the worst-case scenario when in actuality, he's doing fine.”

Although the initial video was cut short during the phone conversation, Casey admitted he has about seven more minutes of his dad lecturing him about his health.

Casey said: “The conversation ended well, though. It ended with him being okay with it now.”

“I’m over it,” assured Gary, “my stomach is fine.”

Gary said he hopes Casey won’t try to prank him again: “He better not - my blood pressure can’t take it!”
