More than 100,000 stolen ChatGPT accounts are being sold in the Darkweb

In the period from June 2022 to May 2023, more than 100 thousand compromised OpenAI ChatGPT accounts were leaked to darkweb trading platforms.
The researchers counted 12,632 Indian credentials alone.
More than 100,000 stolen ChatGPT accounts are being sold in the Darkweb.
According to Group-IB, the accounts were found in the logs of malicious programs that steal credentials. These infostilers are also sold on the dark web marketplaces.

The number of logs containing hacked accounts peaked in May 2023 at 26,802.
Over the past year, the Asia-Pacific region has demonstrated the largest number of stolen credentials," the Group-IB report says.
