Bristol city council has secured significant funding for the southmead area to develop what has been described as a long overdue regeneration of the area. Councillor Kai Dudd said he is feeling optimistic about te future of southmead, he said The council is sending a signal to say it backs the community and their ideas with our investment and also had helped to secure investment from the Government and Homes England.
