Finnish farmers face 'impossible task' of protecting land from hungry geese

In Finland's east Karelia region, filled with boreal forests and wetlands, climate change is pushing local farmers into conflict with wildlife. Less than twenty years ago, no significant amount of the migratory Barnacle geese stopped in Finland to feed but now they number hundreds of thousands. "No one has the resources to keep chasing them away," says farmer Kari Pekonen.
