One Day in Coldest Village on Earth

The village is situated in the East Siberian Plateau, and is surrounded by mountains. The climate is extremely cold and dry, with long, dark winters and short, cool summers. The ground is frozen for most of the year, and the permafrost makes it difficult to build on.

The people of Oymyakon have adapted to the harsh climate. They live in traditional wooden houses, and they wear thick clothing to stay warm. The main source of income for the villagers is reindeer herding, and they also grow a variety of crops, including potatoes, carrots, and cabbage.
