The Aehra Sedan Has an EV Range of 497 Mile and Stands Out Like a Super Car
The second car from Italian-American startup Aehra will go on sale in the US and Europe in 2026

Italian-American EV newbie Aehra has revealed its second car, and it's just as stunning as the SUV we introduced last year.

The company's latest production is a sedan, and since Aehra has decided not to name any of its vehicles, we'll have to refer to it that way. That's a shame, because the word 'sedan' conjures up images of sensible, conservative three-box family cars, even though the Aehra's sedan isn't like that at all.

A low four-door coupe with aggressively sloping windshields and rear windows, the Porsche Taycan rival is as dramatic as some supercars and can even be mistaken for supercars when viewed from some angles, especially if the hawk doors are a feature shared with the SUV. - is raised. While the smooth upper body is free of any fussy details, the lower body is more complex and has lots of ventilation and aerodynamic aids that add muscularity to the design and possibly help keep the car upright at high speed.

While there are obvious similarities between the SUV and the sedan, and both have been dreamed up by former Lamborghini design boss Filippo Perini, there are enough styling differences to ensure that the sedan's low roof height isn't the only way to go. To tell from your more practical brother. For example, the nose of the sedan has a much wider lower air intake, but it lacks the thin horizontal air intake between the headlights seen on the SUV.

On the face of it, both cars are very similar, riding on the same bespoke EV platform, and while technical details are almost nonexistent at this stage, the Aehra has confirmed a range of 497 miles (800 km), suggesting we should wait. 120 kWh battery capacity. We previously reported that the SUV can charge up to 350 kW and the sedan will benefit from the same, making it among the fastest charging EVs.

Aehra didn't reveal the interior of the sedan, but it's not hard to assume it closely mirrors SUVs, at least in terms of having a giant expandable infotainment system that stretches across the entire width of the instrument cluster, turning the car into a movie theater. on wheels.

Aehra doesn't say anything about prices or performance, but as we know the SUV will cost around $160,000 when it launches in 2025, the sedan coming next year will similarly be in the ballpark of up to $200,000.
