Roughly 40 workers from both Kern County and Tulare County Search and Rescue Teams gathered at the Ant Canyon Campground north of Kernville to retrieve the body of the kayaker who died in the Kern River on Wednesday, June 14, but the Kern River, currently a Class 5 rapids, is presenting challenges for rescuers. 23ABC's Corey O'Leary spoke with Search and Rescue personnel to find out more.
