"Don't provoke DMK: Stalin's warning to Modi Govt
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Thursday accused the BJP-led central government of selective and political deployment of the central agencies on the heels of the controversial arrest of Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). In a strongly worded public address released as a video from his office, Stalin said in Tamil, “Do not provoke us. The DMK can’t afford to accept your provoking tactics.” He called the treatment meted out to Balaji, reminding the Centre he is an elected representative and a five-time MLA, an “unfair trouble” after the arrest Wednesday led to an alarming health scare for the minister, necessitating a bypass surgery.
