From 10 June – 10 September 2023 Kunsthalle Zürich presents works by the British-Tamil artist Christopher Kulendran Thomas, in collaboration with Annika Kuhlmann and featuring Aṇaṅkuperuntinaivarkal Inkaaleneraam. Titled “For Real”, the exhibition spans across both floors of the institution. Christopher Kulendran Thomas: For Real takes the failed struggle for an independent Tamil homeland, Tamil Eelam, in the north and east of present-day Sri Lanka, as its starting point.
