04:35 And again, I think that comes down to timing

04:52 And she's a decent body puncher when she's in range.

04:56 But Munguia's making her pay a price to getting close

05:09 but it's Munguia that's really controlling

05:11 the range and the pace.

05:13 Yeah, it's impressive.

05:17 You know, Munguia does a pretty good job of picking off

05:19 blocking shots but also parrying shots with the gloves.

05:23 Munguia just seems to be stronger than Almaraz

05:27 every time she hits another shot she moves him.

10:40 It also opens her up to a higher level of opponent.

10:49 She knows she can get down to flyweight,

10:51 but maybe she can eventually get down to junior flyweight,

10:53 which is 108 pounds,

10:56 in a very, very competitive division in women's boxing.

11:03 I got to believe the fans here in Southern California

11:06 would love to see more of Gloria Munguia.

11:08 I think her fan support grows with each bout,

11:12 just as her skill level grows with each bout,

11:16 because I'm going to say

11:19 this fight has been her best technical performance.

11:24 Just from a pure skill level, this has been her best fight.

11:29 Kudos to 360 and the matchmakers.

11:32 He's stepped his opponent,

11:34 and Amiraz here has given Munguia all the fight she wants.

11:37 Yeah, and listen, Amiraz is showing what she's made of

11:42 in the final seconds of this round.

11:44 She fought to the final bell.

11:47 Really game opponent was Amiraz.

11:50 Gloria Munguia, though, really set the tone early,

11:52 getting that knockdown.

11:54 And again, the ladies, they come to fight, guys.

12:05 can look back at and be proud of.

12:08 And same for Lillian Almaraz.

12:10 She was hurt early in the fight,

12:12 but continued to come forward,

12:14 bite down on the mouthpiece,

12:16 and she gave it her all.

12:20 Yeah, I think everybody that Gloria Munguia

12:22 has fought so far in her pro career,

12:24 they've all been competent.

12:26 Some of them were more experienced than others.

12:29 Some of them, let's be frank,

12:31 they didn't really have much experience to speak of.

12:35 But they had a warrior's heart,

12:37 and they were competent in there.

12:39 They actually had pretty good coaches.

12:46 Take a look at some of the action here.

12:49 This is the end of the round.

12:51 They were swinging to the final bell.

12:54 Yeah, Almaraz really emptied the tank.

12:57 And Munguia did a good job

12:59 to avoid a lot of those head shots.

13:02 But she was caught as well,

13:04 to the body and the head, just as Almaraz was.

13:08 As we said, that spine between Steffi Kohn

13:10 and Munguia benefited both of them.

13:12 It was very obvious in their two fights.
