Achievement unlocked for Asia's best pole vaulter EJ Obiena!

The Filipino Olympian cleared 6-meters to top the Bergen Jump Challenge in Norway over the weekend.

Obiena only needed a single attempt to finally enter the elite six-meter club as he shatters both Asian and national Pole Vault records. The men's Pole Vault world number three's previous personal best was 5-point-94 meters.

Obiena seeks to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics. It will start on July 1st with an entry standard of 5-point-82 meters.
