Hello, friends! Do you like Pokemon? Do you also like cars? Then this video is for you! We made cars that look like four Pokémon: Pikachu, Charizard, Squirtle and Bulbasaur! You will definitely see the similarities between them, because they look really cool! We'll show you how we made these cars, and then we'll race them as well! Who will be the fastest? Who will be last? Watch this video and find out!
First, we began with two vehicles: a race car and a sports car. We detached the spoiler from the sports car and used adhesive to add additional decorations to the frame. We then meticulously cut foam sheets into flame shapes and attached them where the spoiler once sat. Plastic parts, also fashioned into flame shapes, were fastened to the front wheels. After a light sanding, we employed an airbrush to paint the car. Initially, we blanketed the car in white, followed by a rich, bold red. A few more artistic touches with a paintbrush, and the first car, inspired by Charmander, was complete!
For the second car, we began with a race car and shaped it in the image of Pikachu. We first removed extraneous parts from the car's front and back, took off the stickers, and then cut out tail and wing shapes from Styrofoam. Employing adhesive, we completed the bodywork and crafted a mustache for the car's front. With a special compound, we removed any residual paint before lightly sanding the car. We then proceeded to paint it first in white and then in yellow, carefully adding fine details with a brush. And with that, our second car, Pikachu, was ready!
Our third car started with a Monster Truck, which boasted a gum-made jaw on its hood. Next, we affixed a wire on top, using plasticine to mold a bud-like formation from it. We coated the car in a vibrant green and attached similarly colored plates to it, mimicking a shell-like panzer. And just like that, our third car was ready! We managed to prepare the fourth car behind the scenes. Now, everything is set for the grand final race!
