00:00 Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today I'm doing this Kim Kardashian inspired look
00:11 from her makeup in the Grammys. I loved her makeup so much, I thought it was so gorgeous
00:15 as usual. Whether you love Kim Kardashian or hate her, her makeup is always on point.
00:20 Her makeup artist is amazing. His name is Mario, I'm not sure of his second name but
00:27 I know on Instagram his name is MakeupbyMario if you want to go and follow him. So I love
00:35 this look, it's kind of a goldy, greeny eye. There's like a touch of green mixed in with
00:40 the gold on the eyes and then just you know, nice contoured Kim Kardashian skin. And I
00:46 did use all drugstore products apart from I think two things which aren't like majorly
00:52 expensive anyway because I can't afford expensive stuff. But yeah, so I hope you enjoy the video
01:00 and thank you all so much for your lovely comments in my first video. They were all
01:05 really nice and I hope you can leave me more comments so I can talk to you guys. So without
01:11 further ado, let's get on with the look. I'm going to take a hairband and put down, back
01:17 my hair because I cannot stand my hair being in my face when I'm doing my makeup. Like,
01:26 my hair just, ugh. It has to be back because it's just easier. So I'm going to start off,
01:35 I've already moisturised my face actually and I've been using this new moisturiser that
01:38 I got. I actually only tried it for the first time today. It's called Good Things Manuka
01:43 Honey Daily Moisturiser Youth Protect with Royal Jelly and Bee Venom. And so far I really
01:51 like it. I've only used it once so I can't really, you know, comment on it properly but
01:55 I liked it today. But yeah, anyway, to start off I'm taking this L'Oreal Lumié Magique
02:01 Primer because Kim kind of looked like she had glowy skin. It wasn't really dewy but
02:08 she definitely had some sort of glow. So this primer will give us that glow that we're looking
02:16 for. I really like the look this primer gives. When you put it on first it almost looks like
02:32 it's metallic. Okay, so once you apply that primer and let that set in a bit. This is
02:42 the L'Oreal True Match Foundation. I'm in the shade W3. Yeah, I'm in the shade W3. I'm
02:52 going to be taking this kind of rounded, no that's not the rounded one, that's the flat
02:58 one. I'm going to take this rounded face brush to apply that all over my face. This is like
03:10 my favourite drugstore foundation ever. I just, I really like it. A lot of people really
03:20 do and then some people kind of like hate it. I think you kind of either love it or
03:24 hate it. I don't really think there's like an in between really. Look at the result.
03:31 I'm going to be using on to concealer and I'm going to be highlighting my face using
03:48 the concealer because you know that's Kim Kardashian's signature look. So I'm taking
03:52 the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I have two different shades here because I was buying
04:02 them online and I wasn't sure what shade I'd be so I have it in shade 10 and 20 so there's
04:07 only like one difference but like one shade different to each other. But I didn't realise
04:13 because they didn't have the numbers online they just had like light. I think this was
04:17 light and I think one was honey. But anyway, I'm using them in shades 10 and 20. I'm going
04:21 to be mixing them together. I'm going to take the lighter shade first and apply that. This
04:25 is my first time using these actually. I've heard great things about them but I've just
04:30 never used them before. Okay this is the light one and it's actually quite dark. Like I really
04:43 like a really brightening concealer. One that's you know a couple of shades lighter than my
04:50 skin tone. This is actually quite dark. We'll see how the other shade goes. If this one's
04:54 too dark I'll probably just use this for like blemishes and stuff. Okay this one, I don't
05:04 know, it kind of looks a bit lighter. I think this one is more yellowy toned. The other
05:12 one's more kind of olivey. And I prefer like a yellow undertone to more of an olive undertone.
05:22 I don't know, this is my first time using them. We'll see how they blend out and then
05:26 I can tell you what I think of them. So far I'm kind of shocked at this shade because
05:31 that one, the number 10 was called light online. I don't know if there's a lighter one but
05:37 I don't know. Like this is number 10 so what number could they go to? 0, 0 maybe? I have
05:42 no clue. Anyway let's just blend these out. I'm taking my beauty blender to do this. I
05:56 really really like how they blended out. They're not as highlighting as my other concealers
06:03 that I normally use. I normally take concealer that is a good bit lighter than my foundation
06:09 because I just love highlighting. But I still like the way they blend out. I look like I
06:15 have like no eyes now. I had some blemishes around my nose and they covered up them well
06:22 so again. And coverage wise I like them a lot. I prefer that light shade was a bit lighter.
06:29 That's why I got the darker one because I thought it might be a bit too light but no
06:33 it's the opposite. It's actually quite dark so oh well. I still like the coverage and
06:39 stuff so that's fine. So I'm going to set under my eyes and this is the only thing I'm
06:43 using that isn't drugstore. This is the, this is the Fuchsia Light Powder. I'm going to
06:52 use this to set my concealer. This is the only thing that's not drugstore. This and
06:56 the contour powder. But I will show you a cheaper alternative with the contour powder
07:00 although it's not my favourite. You can still go ahead and use it if you really wanted to.
07:06 So I'm going to be taking this powder and setting my concealer. So this is quite a light
07:11 powder so this will brighten up those areas where I put the concealer down. I just love
07:17 a nice highlight and contour. And so does Kim Kardashian so it's perfect. And the products
07:28 she actually used were like Anastasia Beverly Hills and stuff because I saw her makeup artist
07:35 post it on Instagram some of the products that he used. So this is just going to be
07:39 like drugstore alternatives. And next I'm going to set the rest of my face and this
07:46 is like, this powder is amazing. This is the Bourjois Paris Healthy Balance Powder. I love
07:52 it. I use it all the time. Like even when I'm not doing a drugstore foundation routine.
07:59 Like when I'm going out and I might use maybe some higher end products I'll still always
08:02 use this. This is in the colour medium. I love it so much. It gives such a nice finish.
08:09 It's not too matte. So I just set all the places that I didn't set with the lighter
08:20 powder. And next I'm going to move on to the contour. And this is Kim's signature thing.
08:26 She always has perfect contour. You could have, before you set your face with powder,
08:32 you could have done it with cream products if you prefer that. But I have cream products
08:36 and powder but I prefer using just the powder on its own. Because the powder that I use
08:41 is amazing. So I talked about these brushes in one of my last videos. It is the ones from
08:47 Amazon. I can actually do a review on these if you want. Like a demo and show you how
08:53 I use them and stuff because I have been loving them. So I think that would be a good idea.
08:58 I'm using this contour colour from Fuchsia Makeup. What I normally use and I love this
09:04 one so much. I think it's the perfect contour colour. But if you want a cheaper alternative,
09:09 I think these are cheap anyway. I'm actually not sure how much they are. I haven't been
09:12 in their store yet to see the new set up they have. But this one here by Sleek, this contour
09:20 palette, this is in the light shade. It's in a contour colour, a highlight and a blush.
09:27 This is actually really nice. What I'm going to do is take the brush and just draw a line
09:33 right in the hollow of my cheekbones. You can like suck your face in if you feel like
09:37 you need to. So I'm going to draw a line on either side. Just like that. And then I'm
09:50 going to get the brush and I'm going to put it flat on my face and start blending upwards
09:54 using like circular motions. Not really. I'm kind of, I don't know. I'm just kind of pushing
10:02 the product up using the brush. So once I've blended it out as much as I can with the little
10:30 brush, I will take an angled brush and just kind of blend it out further. Any angled brush,
10:36 any brush you want you can use to blend it out. And I just push the product up. You do
10:42 not want to drag the contour down because that will create a muddy look and it will
10:48 just look really muddy and it won't look like anything. It will just look like you've stuck
10:51 brown stuff on your face. So you want to make sure you're blending that up instead of dragging
10:55 it down. And then I'm going to take some more product and apply it around my forehead. Just
11:08 keep going back and blending out the contour. That is just really the key to this contouring
11:15 look is just to blend. And what am I going to do next? Oh yeah, I'm just going to contour
11:20 my nose a bit. I don't know if Kim contours her nose or not, but I do. She doesn't need
11:27 to. Her nose is like the perfect shape, like my ideal nose shape. But I always contour
11:33 mine. I'm just taking that same brush and just kind of squeezing it a bit just to make
11:37 it a bit smaller and just running it down the sides of my nose. I'm going to be taking
11:48 this gold colour here. This is from a front cover palette. I'm just going to take it on
11:55 a blending brush and just lightly dust that over my lid. I'm going to take these two green
12:13 colours here. This is from the Gosh eyeshadow palette. I'm going to take those greens and
12:22 lightly start to blend it over the gold because she used, well Mario, her makeup artist used
12:30 green and gold. So I'm going to go back to that gold and the greens and just keep applying
12:38 them on until I get the right colour. Okay, so once you get the gold and green colours
12:51 how you like it, you're going to take just a matte brown colour. This is from the Sleek
12:56 Eye Naturale palette. And you're just going to lightly apply that kind of to the outer
13:02 part of your eye. I'm going to line my eyes using this brown pencil. This is by collection.
13:20 This by collection is the intense colour super soft gold pencil in number two birdie song.
13:27 It just looks like that. It's just a bright eye pencil and I'm going to line my waterline.
13:39 Okay next I'm going to highlight my inner corner because I actually forgot to do that.
13:42 I'm taking this colour here. This is also by front cover. It's a beautiful highlight
13:46 shade. She definitely had a bit of a highlight in there. And then just a bit underneath the
14:02 primer just to highlight ever so slightly. Next I'm taking this R.E.M waterproof gel
14:07 eyeliner and I'm going to be applying this on my eyelid. And then what you're going to
14:14 do is you're going to drag it down right into the inner corner. Just drag it out just a
14:20 bit because that's what she had. So you don't have a really intense wing. It's just brought
14:25 up just a bit. So once you're happy with that you can go ahead and apply mascara. I'm doing
14:32 things backwards today. I don't know why I just reached for my lower lash line mascara
14:36 first. This is the Rimmel big eyes as usual. This is the one for your bottom lash line.
14:42 And then of course you're going to apply some to your top lash line as well. I'm using the
15:00 Rimmel Scandal Eyes Extreme mascara. I'm going to have to apply falsies. The falsies I'm going
15:12 to be using are the Ardell Demi Wispies. Here's one of them here. I'm just going to go ahead
15:16 and apply those to my lashes. So once you have your lashes on it's pretty much finished. I just
15:22 always go and just touch up everything. Okay so that's the eyes pretty much finished I think. So
15:35 next I'm going to move on and finish the rest of my face. We already have the highlight colour here
15:42 from the Sleep palette that I was talking about earlier on. The contour palette in light. So I'm
15:49 going to get rid of that and I'm just going to apply it to the tops of my cheekbones. It's a
15:58 beautiful highlight. I don't use it enough at all. I should use it way more because it's so beautiful.
16:04 Just to the high points of my face. Okay so after you apply that highlighter you're going to take
16:10 a nice light pink blush. I'm using Pink Cloud by Natural Collection. I'll show you the blush
16:15 now. It's just a nice light pink blush and you're going to lightly apply that just on top of the
16:23 contour. She had a bit of a kind of pink tone. I'm going to finish off the lips. I'm going to be
16:31 taking this Rimmel Apocalypse Lip Lacquer. This is it here. I don't know what the shade is. Oh
16:39 it's in 600 Nude Eclipse because she did have a nice glossy nude lip.
16:46 Okay this is the completed look. I hope you all enjoyed. This is just my take on her Grammy
16:57 makeup. I'll see you on my next video. Bye.
16:59 Bye.
