Keeping Up Appearances was a highly successful British comedy starring Patricia Routledge and Clive Owens as man and wife Richard and Hyacinth Bucket, although she prefers the pronunciation 'Bouquet'. Hyacinth sees herself as upper class, Richard is happy with being middle class and her sister and brother in law, Daisy and Onslow, are lower class.
