Defence helicopter pilot denies failure to alert authorities to Orroral Valley bushfire was due to fear of tarnishing military's reputation

One of the pilots of the helicopter, which started the devastating Ah-Rural Valley fire near Canberra, has denied he was worried about tarnishing the army's reputation. The coronial inquiry has resumed after a delay. No-one died in the fire but it destroyed 80 per cent of Namadji National Park.
