00:00 (upbeat music)
00:02 Hey guys, so today before jumping into the tutorial,
00:22 something a little bit more important than makeup,
00:25 I wanna introduce to you the newest member of our family.
00:28 Come here buddy, come here.
00:29 Look at this.
00:30 (screams)
00:34 This is Mr. Frankie Hill.
00:36 This is our newest little pup.
00:38 Hi buddy, hi.
00:39 Hello.
00:42 Can you see that face?
00:43 Do you see that face?
00:45 This is actually Frankie's first official debut
00:48 here on camera, so how does it feel Frankie?
00:49 How does it feel?
00:50 Tell the people.
00:51 Okay, okay.
00:52 He is honest to God, you guys,
00:53 like the sweetest puppy I've ever known in my life.
00:56 He is just a snuggler and he's just so sleepy
00:59 and adorable and sweet, but he's got a side of sass.
01:02 He's a lot like his mommy.
01:03 And I wish that you guys could have seen him
01:05 when I first got him 'cause he's already double the size.
01:07 Double.
01:09 He was half the size of this when I got him
01:11 just three weeks ago.
01:12 This is his first time on camera
01:13 because he is finally living with us.
01:15 If you follow me on Snapchat and on Twitter
01:17 and all that jazz, then you would know
01:19 we have had quite the fiasco getting Georgie
01:22 used to Frankie.
01:23 It was horrible at first.
01:24 We have taken so much of your advice
01:26 and we have also gotten advice from a trainer as well
01:29 and just kind of taken it very slow
01:32 and been very patient.
01:32 And so now Frankie is home and Georgie and him
01:35 really are getting along.
01:36 Georgie only has outbursts.
01:38 Maybe like once or twice a day he'll just be like,
01:39 enough!
01:40 But for the most part they're doing great.
01:42 So it is wonderful.
01:43 He's such a little joy.
01:44 And for those of you who are wondering what breed he is,
01:46 he is a Shih Tzu.
01:47 I've grown up with Shih Tzus my entire life.
01:49 My mom's had Shih Tzus ever since before I was born
01:51 and I just love them.
01:52 They're like my favorite dogs in the entire world.
01:53 They're just little companions and they're so sweet
01:55 and they're such great cuddlers
01:56 and they're amazing with kids.
01:57 So Georgie and him are both Shih Tzus.
02:00 Do you die for that?
02:04 He makes that noise every single time he yawns.
02:07 It is the cutest thing in the entire world.
02:09 Every time he yawns we're all like, stop it.
02:12 Okay, so now that we have that over with,
02:14 today's video is going to be a makeup tutorial,
02:17 lost my train of thought,
02:18 a makeup tutorial on the look that I have on right here.
02:20 I asked you guys on Twitter if you wanted to see
02:22 something dramatic or more natural or neutral
02:25 and 95% of you guys said dramatic,
02:28 drama, all caps with exclamations
02:30 and I was like, oh my god.
02:32 So you guys asked for it, here it is.
02:35 I wanted to do something cool toned
02:36 because you know, I love my warm tones
02:38 and I feel like I'm not as intense with my warm tones
02:42 here on my channels as I used to be though.
02:44 I've definitely transitioned more to like neutral side
02:47 because if I had it my way you guys,
02:49 I don't think you'd understand,
02:49 I would be wearing like brick red wrapped around my eyes
02:53 every day with like 3D mink lashes like that right there
02:58 is life to me.
02:59 (dog barks)
03:00 Like you just did.
03:01 So I just decided to go with a classic black and gray
03:03 and silver smoky eye.
03:04 I've never done a look like this before.
03:06 I have done a silver and black tutorial
03:08 but what's different about this is there's no liner,
03:11 there's no intense wing, there's no sharp edge.
03:14 This is so rounded and blown out.
03:16 It literally looks like smoke on the eye
03:19 which is just like my favorite look of all time.
03:22 I absolutely love it.
03:23 This is very sexy, it is definitely appropriate
03:25 for a night out so I hope that you guys enjoy.
03:28 If you do, give this video a thumbs up
03:29 and don't forget to subscribe.
03:31 I never say that like ever but I feel like I'm supposed to.
03:34 Maybe I should just not, whatever.
03:37 You know what to do.
03:37 I love you guys so much.
03:39 I hope you enjoy this tutorial and I'll see you soon.
03:41 Bye guys.
03:42 Oh my God, Georgie and Frankie are legit
03:43 kind of like right now.
03:44 Mama can't take it.
03:47 Hello my loves.
03:50 So today we are going to be starting with our skin.
03:53 So I am going to go in with a primer.
03:54 I am using Makeup Forever Radiant Primer
03:56 and I'm going to massage this all over the skin.
03:59 You know the drill with primer.
04:00 Let's move past that.
04:02 I'm also going to be using a new product
04:03 that I have not used on camera before
04:05 and this is by the brand Tatcha
04:07 and this is a luminous dewy skin mist.
04:09 I bought this solely because of the fact
04:10 that Kim Kardashian uses it and I wanted that glow.
04:13 So I've been trying it out and I love it.
04:15 I will talk more about it in an upcoming video though
04:17 so just hang tight.
04:18 I'm going in with the Elsie Micro Silk Foundation.
04:22 Absolutely love this foundation.
04:23 I've been raving about it now for quite a few videos
04:25 and it is like my nonstop go-to.
04:27 I am applying that using a foundation brush by Morphe.
04:30 This is the E31.
04:31 This is from the Elite Collection which is amazeballs.
04:34 Now I'm going to conceal my under eye area.
04:37 I like to skip this part pretty quickly
04:38 'cause I feel like you guys have seen me
04:39 do this whole entire drill 5,000 times
04:41 and if you ever want an updated foundation
04:43 or concealer routine, you know just to ask
04:45 and I shall give it to you.
04:47 So I am just going ahead and using a damp beauty blender
04:50 to blend out the Urban Decay Weightless Naked Concealer
04:53 up towards the temple.
04:55 Then I always take it and I put it on my chin,
04:57 around my nose because women can always get red there.
05:00 That's just due to hormones.
05:01 You can't escape it.
05:02 And then in the center of the forehead as well.
05:04 Just to even out that very light highlight that we're doing
05:07 and then also just to make things look
05:09 a little bit more natural.
05:10 When you do concealer underneath the eyes
05:12 and you even out on other places of the face,
05:14 in the end it will just make everything look
05:15 a little bit more put together.
05:17 Now I'm going to set that highlight
05:19 using my two favorite under eye highlighting powders.
05:21 I am mixing both MAC Pro Emphasize,
05:24 which is a pro product but you can still find it
05:26 on maccosmetics.com and Anastasia Banana Powder,
05:29 which you can find separately or it comes
05:31 in her contour kit, the original one as well.
05:34 So I'm just going to set that entire under eye area
05:36 and also the eyelid because that will help
05:38 prep our eyes for eye shadow.
05:39 Also the chin and the center of the forehead
05:41 so that nothing moves or creases
05:42 and it lasts all day long.
05:44 Now we're gonna go in with the eyes.
05:46 Ah!
05:47 I'm going to be using the Kat Von D Shade Light Eye Palette.
05:49 Can we please just admire this palette?
05:51 Oh my god.
05:52 We're starting off with that matte gray shade,
05:54 which by the way, this entire palette is matte,
05:56 which is just amazing.
05:57 I love it when people do all mattes or all shimmer palettes.
06:00 I just think it's so fun.
06:01 So going in with that gray shade in the Sigma E40,
06:04 I'm going to only put this on the outer corner
06:06 of the eye as you can see.
06:07 And I'm gonna do something that's gonna make
06:09 a lot of people nervous and that is I'm going
06:11 to wrap this color completely around the eye.
06:13 As you can see, I'm not separating the shades.
06:15 Going in now with Makeup Geek Barcelona Beach.
06:18 This is not completely necessary,
06:20 but I love this color and just adding more and more grays
06:23 on top of grays, it's just gonna give
06:25 such a three dimensional look and in the end,
06:27 it's just gonna look so smoky and so blown out.
06:29 I feel like the more colors I use,
06:31 the more seamless my eyes look.
06:33 So I am now using a Morphe M503 Blending Brush.
06:36 And again, I'm gonna put that mainly
06:37 in the outer corner of the eye, all over that lid area.
06:40 Then I'm going to wrap it around.
06:42 You really wanna halo and circle that entire eye.
06:45 I know it can be intimidating to do this
06:47 'cause you're like, wait a second,
06:48 I'm about to grab a black eye.
06:49 But just do it and I'm telling you,
06:51 the end result is so beautiful.
06:53 So using this kind of like chocolatey gray color,
06:55 it's really interesting 'cause this color
06:57 isn't like a deep gray, but it's also not a deep brown.
06:59 It's like a chocolatey gray and it's beautiful.
07:02 I'm gonna be using an E22 brush by Morphe
07:04 and I'm going to again, pack this on that outer corner.
07:07 I love this brush 'cause it has a little bit of a tip
07:09 so you can really get precise with it,
07:11 which is why I'm going in with this blending brush right now.
07:13 Once you are done with that,
07:15 you're gonna wanna go in with a fluffy brush
07:16 like the Sigma E40 and just go back and forth
07:19 and blend, blend, blend.
07:21 That is what's gonna make this look beautiful
07:22 and not look like you got punched in the face is blending.
07:24 So be patient and take your time.
07:26 I'm going in with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
07:28 and I'm just gonna pack that on my cheekbones
07:30 'cause I'm about to go in with a very intense black
07:32 and I just do that, that way it'll catch the fallout
07:35 and not get all over my face and ruin my foundation.
07:37 So now going in with that black from the palette
07:39 and a Sigma E25, I am now just gonna begin
07:42 to do the same thing with this
07:43 that I did with those other shades.
07:44 And yes, Frankie was whining at my feet,
07:46 that's why I'm holding him here for a quick second
07:48 but I'm about to put him down.
07:49 So I'm just gonna pack that on the entire outer corner
07:52 but I'm also going to make sure
07:54 that I am not going above my crease.
07:56 We're gonna keep this a little bit lower
07:57 than the gray colors 'cause we don't want it to go
07:59 extended too high, otherwise once again,
08:02 that can kinda make you look like a panda bear
08:04 and kind of like you've been bruised.
08:06 The trick is to keep the black as low as possible
08:08 and let the grays go up higher.
08:10 So keep the black low and make sure
08:12 that you blend, blend, blend.
08:14 And those two things combined are gonna make it
08:16 so that your smoky eye is beautiful
08:18 and not too scary and not too harsh and jagged
08:20 where it can look like, whoa, what did you do to your face?
08:22 'Cause you know exactly what I'm talking about,
08:24 we've all had that problem with our smoky eyes before.
08:26 So again with the black, I'm wrapping it around the eye
08:29 and again, blending it out.
08:31 Just make sure that you really take your time
08:33 to pack on this black very intensely
08:34 and halo it around that entire corner of your eye
08:37 to really make it blown out and smoky.
08:40 Now I'm going to line my waterline
08:42 using Ardency Inn eyeliner.
08:44 This is the creamiest, inkiest, blackest liner
08:46 I've ever used and it does not leave
08:48 my waterline all day long.
08:50 I'm using the E18 pencil brush from the Elite Collection
08:53 and oh my gosh, this pencil brush is amazing!
08:56 Just to pack on a little bit more black.
08:58 Now I'm going in with a MAC 228 brush
09:00 and this is the teensiest, tiniest little precision brush
09:02 you've ever seen and I use this
09:04 to highlight my inner corner.
09:05 I am currently using MAC Shroom eyeshadow.
09:08 I'm sorry I didn't show you the camera,
09:09 show the camera the product,
09:11 but I was just so in my zone, you know how it is.
09:13 I'm just gonna pack that on really intensely
09:15 on that inner corner of my eye
09:16 'cause I want it to be a very, very bright inner corner.
09:19 I mean you can go as bright white as you want
09:21 and I don't think it's really gonna be too overboard
09:22 'cause it really works since you have
09:24 such a dark outer corner to have
09:25 a really intense, bright inner corner.
09:28 That exact same Shroom color by MAC,
09:30 I'm just gonna use that on my brow bone
09:32 just to highlight.
09:33 This to me is so necessary when you're doing
09:35 like an intense, smoky eye.
09:37 Highlighting the brow bone is just gonna
09:39 complete that bombshell look.
09:41 Now I'm going in with a MAC pressed pigment.
09:43 You guys know I'm such a fan of MAC pressed pigments.
09:45 I think they're gorgeous.
09:46 And I'm using the shade Enlightening
09:48 and I'm going to just pack that on the lid using my finger.
09:51 You can choose to use glitter glue.
09:52 It'll make this easier.
09:53 I am using a paper towel so I don't get too much fallout
09:56 because you will have fallout with the MAC pressed pigments.
09:59 You really can't escape it when you're applying it
10:01 unless you use glitter glue.
10:03 I'm gonna pop on some false lashes.
10:04 These are by Flutter Lashes.
10:06 I'm not sure what style they are, you guys.
10:07 I'm so sorry.
10:08 I've used them like 15 times.
10:10 It's just like one of those things
10:11 they've been sitting on my vanity
10:12 and I keep popping them on.
10:13 Sanitary, I know.
10:14 Moving on.
10:15 Now I'm going to contour my face.
10:17 I am using the NARS Ida brush.
10:19 I've been obsessed with this again, you guys.
10:20 My tried and true.
10:21 I was so obsessed with this back in the day
10:23 and it is back in business.
10:24 And I'm going to just carve out my face
10:26 using the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer.
10:29 And then I'm just of course going to even that out
10:32 by bronzing my forehead as well.
10:34 I'm gonna go in with Becca Sweet Pea blush
10:36 using a Morphe E3.
10:38 Is this?
10:39 No, this is an E4, I'm sorry.
10:40 Sweet Pea blush is my go-to blush
10:42 when I'm doing smoky eyes
10:43 because it gives just enough color to the skin
10:45 but it's very neutral
10:46 and it's not over the top on the cheeks.
10:48 Now to highlight, I'm gonna use
10:49 Mary Lou Manizer by The Balm.
10:51 It's such a beautiful, neutral, very vanilla shade.
10:54 I love, love, love this highlight.
10:56 When I'm not doing something too bronzy
10:57 because it's so vanilla,
10:59 it just compliments your eyes so incredibly well.
11:02 Now to finish this look off,
11:03 I'm gonna be using Dose of Colors Stone Liquid Lipstick.
11:07 I believe this is a liquid lipstick
11:08 but I will link it down below for you guys
11:10 if you're curious in it.
11:11 It's a beautiful shade though.
11:12 And now to set everything,
11:13 I'm gonna go in with Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray
11:16 and this look is complete.
11:17 I'm exhausted, I feel like I just got done talking
11:19 like 500 miles a minute and I ran a marathon.
11:21 So I hope that you appreciate it.
11:23 I hope you enjoy this video.
11:24 I love you so much and I'll see you soon.
11:25 Bye guys.
