Restoration work in full swing at Odisha train accident site, normal operations soon

Restoration work is under way at the site where the horrific Balasore train accident took place, killing 288 people and leaving over 1000 injured.

As per the Ministry of Railways restoration, work is ongoing with over 1000 men working tirelessly. At present, more than 7 Poclain Machines, 2 Accident Relief Trains, and 3-4 Railway and Road Cranes have been deployed for early restoration. Officials are closely monitoring the restoration process at the accident site.
