The People's Movement for Truth, Justice and Reforms (PMTJR) hold a press conference to protest against the Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bill on Thursday, June 1, in Quezon City.

PMTJR stated that the MIF is a risky venture that does not guarantee real and sustained gains for the people. They also questioned the transparency of the investments and accountability in the event of failure. The group announced that they would be filing a petition before the Supreme Court, questioning the constitutionality of the MIF once President R. Marcos Jr. signs the bill. (MB Video by Noel B.
