US and Japan Coast Guard ships arrive in Manila for joint maritime drills

The US coast guard ship ‘USCGC STRATTON’ (WMSL-752) and Japan's ‘JCGAKITSUSHIMA’ (PLH32) arrive in Manila on Thursday, June 1, 2023 for the first-ever joint maritime drills later this week.

The exercise will take place from June 1 to June 7 and will include drills in waters off the Bataan Peninsula on the Philippines' main Luzon Island.(MB Video by Ali Vicoy)
