All women in Karnataka can travel free of cost in the government buses, the Minister for Transport Ramalinga Reddy announced on Tuesday. Reddy said "there are no conditions" and that women can travel throughout Karnataka regardless of BPL, APL. Cabinet meeting in this regard is scheduled on June 1. The details would be discussed and CM Siddaramaiah will make the announcement after the meeting, he stated.
