Footage shows animal rights activists removing young sheep from the royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Animal Rising said that protesters took three lambs from Appleton Farm at around 8pm on Wednesday, 24 May.

The group said that the women later handed themselves into police.

“Three women aged in their 20s and 30s voluntarily attended a police station in Slough and were arrested on suspicion of theft,” Norfolk Police said.

Wednesday’s incident “marks the first” of the group’s “high-profile ‘open rescues’ this summer,” Animal Rising said.
