Just Stop Oil: Bystanders shout as group douse Chelsea Flower Show garden in paint

  • last year
Three Just Stop Oil supporters threw orange paint over a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show on Thursday, 25 May, in a protest demanding that the UK government halts all new oil, gas and coal projects.

Activists coated the RBC Brewin Dolphin Garden, designed by Paul Hervey-Brookes, in orange powder.

A passer-by doused the women in water from a hose as they protested.

Onlookers shouted a mix of abuse and support as the protesters explained why they were there; one passer-by told the group they were “morons,” while another told them “well done.”
