Pwc told to stand down staff with knowledge of breach

PwC has agreed to remove all staff involved in a confidentiality breach from current and future contracts with the Commonwealth pending the outcome of a review into the company's culture. So far, this financial year, PwC has been awarded almost a quarter of a billion dollars in Federal Government contracts. Australian federal police have begun a "priority" criminal investigation after the head of treasury referred PwC over the leak of sensitive tax information.
