A man was left stunned after capturing the rare moment a dust devil touched down and span through the city of Frederick in Maryland, USA.
Josh VerStandig was walking through downtown Frederick on May 24 when he spotted the dust devil.
He was able to capture incredible footage of the freak weather phenomenon, which is caused when hot air rises rapidly through cooler air and usually occurs in arid deserts.
Josh uploaded the video to his Twitter account and captioned it: "Casually saw a tornado in downtown Frederick today. Weird."
