Prime Minister accuse Opposition Leader of amplifying disinformation

The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has criticised Opposition Leader Peter Dutton for amplifying misinformation about the indigenous voice to Parliament. The Prime Minister said Mr Dutton has made comments on the voice that are "unworthy" of his position. The stoush comes as the bill to call the referendum on an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voice is being debated in the lower house and is expected to come to a vote next week. The Liberal party is expected to vote to allow the referendum to go ahead, while the national party is expected to oppose it. Anthony Albanese says the voice will be celebrated if it passes, he references occasions such as the 1967 referendum, the Mabo decision, and the National apology.
