Rescue teams, equipment placed on standby in NCR as gov't prepares for 'Mawar'

Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MMDRRMC) Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes, together with MMDA General Manager Usec. Procopio Lipana, Deputy Chairman Usec. Frisco San Juan Jr. and Officer-in-Charge for Operations Atty. Vic Trinidad, inspect the agency's rescue team's vehicles and equipment at MMDA headquarters at Pasig City on Thursday, May 25.

The rescue team’s vehicles and equipment will be deployed in areas that may be affected by Super Typhoon 'Mawar,' which is expected to enter the Philippine Area of ​​Responsibility (PAR) on Friday.
