The senior investigator in the prosecution of former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann over the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins has revealed he is a survivor of sexual assault himself. In the end Bruce Lehrmann's trial was abandoned and there are no findings against him, but an inquiry is looking into claims police pressured prosecutors not to pursue the case.
