The life of an ordinary teenager takes an unexpected turn in new Disney plus series "American born Chinese."
the eight-episode action-comedy-fantasy series follows the journey of Jin Wang whose life is forever changed when he befriended Wei-Chen who is the son of mythical god, "the Monkey King."
CNN Philippines got to speak with Daniel Wu, who plays "the Monkey King" and Jimmy Liu, who plays Wei-Chen.
They told us more about the story of this coming-of-age series which is directed by Shang Chi's Destin Daniel Cretton.
