Neeraj Chopra has attained the world number one rank in men’s javelin throw. As per the rankings released by World Athletics, Chopra stands top on the list. Neeraj Chopra leads world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada by 22 points. In Tokyo 2020, Chopra became the first Indian track and athlete to win a gold medal at the Olympics. 25-year-old Neeraj Chopra is also the first Indian to become the world no one in track and field.
