France fell 1-2 from South Korea

South Korea successfully beat France with a score of 2 1 in the first match of Group F at the Malvinas Argentinas Stadium, Mendoza, Monday (22 May) evening or early Tuesday morning WIB. Two South Korean goals were scored by Lee Seung Won in the 22nd minute and Lee Young Jun in the 64th minute. France could only reply through Alan Virginius' penalty (70'). France continued to try to equalize after scoring the first goal through the white point. However, they never scored additional goals until the match ended with a score of 2 1 for South Korea's victory. Thanks to the victory over France, Korea has the right to occupy the top two positions on the Group F standings for the 2023 U20 World Cup. Korea occupied the top two positions with Gambia who also won 2 1 in the first match against Honduras.
