Ahead of PM Modi’s visit to Pacific Island Countries, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi shared a video giving a sneak peek into India’s partnership with Pacific Island Countries. PM Modi is scheduled to visit Papua New Guinea on May 21. PM Modi will co-chair FIPIC Summit during his visit to the island nation. Upon his arrival at Port Moresby PM Modi will be received by the PM of Papua New Guinea and he will be accorded a full ceremonial reception.


Earlier on May 21 PM departed from Japan to Papua New Guinea. PM attended G7 Summit in the Japanese city of Hiroshima. India was invited as a guest country for the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Hiroshima.
