Beat Myanmar 3-1, Vietnam Snatches Bronze

The Vietnam U-22 national team secured a bronze medal in the 2023 SEA Games men's football. The Golden Star Warrior won 3 to 1 over Myanmar. In a match at the National Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Tuesday (16/5/2023), Vietnam won two goals in the first half. A pair of goals from Van Chuong Ho in the ninth and 35th minute brought Vietnam ahead. In the second half, Vietnam added another goal. Philippe Troussier's team scored a goal by Khuat Van Khang in the 57th minute. Myanmar replied once in the 88th minute. It was Aung Myo Khant who scored the consolation goal. With this result, Vietnam takes third place in the 2023 SEA Games. Previously, they were gold winners in the last two editions.
