Peace Officers Memorial Day and ASIS Awards of Valor

The security organization ASIS International Phoenix Chapter is hosting the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon (LEAL) on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023. During LEAL, police officers are given Awards of Valor for acts above and beyond the call of duty. Last year’s honoree, Officer Ryan Shell of the Phoenix PD, was also named the National Association of Police Organizations’ Top Cop. Proceeds from the luncheon go to the families of fallen officers.
