ELREEN ANDO POSTS NEW SEA GAMES RECORD IN GOLD MEDAL WIN

Filipino weightlifter Elreen Ando ruled the women's 59kg class in a record-setting fashion to win a gold medal in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at the National Olympic Stadium's Taekwondo Hall on Sunday, May 14.

Ando established a new standard with a total lift of 216 kg.

Her best lift snatch (98 kg) and clean and jerk (118 kg) are also new records.
