The NFL released its 2023 schedule on Thursday, May 11. Three takeaways are 1) the NFL wants to introduce the new Detroit Lions, pairing them against the Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs on opening night; 2) the Dallas Cowboys remain "America's Team" with the max number of four prime time appearances; and 3) the AFC sets up for an exciting finish with the Bengals, Chiefs, and Bills all playing each other late in the season.
