Ahead of this year’s Eurovision we caught up with legendary Edinburgh pub quizmaster Dr Paul, a long time fan of the competition who made the trip to Liverpool with his daughter this year.

Over the years Paul has become arguably the definitive pub quiz host in the Capital, where he puts on regular quizzes at the Brass Monkey, The Joker and the Thief and The Strathie - just to name a few.

We asked him about the vibe in Liverpool at the moment and what acts to look out for this year.
