AG apologizes to Barbados for the Brent Thomas fiasco
  • last year
Attorney General Reginald Armour has issued an apology to Barbados' Attorney General and their Police Service, as they've been implicated and accused of abducting Brent Thomas on his return to Trinidad.

In a statement to the Parliament, Armour said the TTPS was never given approval for extradition, and the Barbados authorities were acting on information received by our police.

The AG said though, there are other aspects of the case that will be appealed.

Kejan Haynes has more.
